Q: Referred to administration
asked by: DoctorQuestion on September 3rd, 2008
I've been referred to a neurosurgeon (Clarence Watridge-Semmes Murphey...Memphis) for possible back surgery. I understand about the arthritis which I've been told I have in my lower back. I'd like a layman's interpretation of the MRI findings regarding the disk and nerves, and if back surgery could be warranted. My husband has herniated disks and gets spinal blocks about once every two or three years. From the MRI findings could I possibly be a candidate for those?

What is “ layman's interpretation” of the MRI findings?
