Carpal tunnel syndrome is accompanied by very clear signs and symptoms. But how do symptoms change as the syndrome progresses? More info here....
I was diagnosed with carpal tunnel In January. I use a splint every day but last weekend I noticed redness around my wrist. It happened literally overnight. It's not from the splint because I left it off for a couple days and the redness didn't go away. It's red only on the palm side, and it goes from one side to the other of my hand, almost like a sweat band. But its not on the back of my hand. No bumps or anything else, just looks just like a burn and its warm but doesnt hurt. I rubbed it with cortisone cream on Thursday but so far it has not gone away. My hand pain is no worse, no better, so I'm wondering if it has anything to do with the carpals. Any suggestions? Anybody else have anything like this?

I think if anything I would connect it to the splint...You may want to have this checked out...Take care...
