Hi
Im New to this forum

I have had this condition for as long as i remember.
My doctor doesn't take it serious enough to look at it for more then 3 seconds.

I was wondering if anyone knows this condition and if its treatable

I just get a redness around my eyebrows, doesn't really itch
It comes in strong when my face hits the cold and i go in some where warm
some times it actually almost disappears.

I do cut my eyebrows down when it gets real bushy , but i know thats not the problem beacause its been happening since i was young.

Here is a pic of my eyebrows

Please someone help
ANYONE!!

Dry skin and cold weather itch are definitely linked. Here are some recommendations for dealing with dry skin:

* Take fewer and shorter baths. When you bathe, avoid hot water.
* Moisturize your skin immediately after bathing in order to prevent the skin from drying.
* Avoid overdrying wet skin. Try patting your skin dry.
* Avoid excessive use of soap. Try a soapless cleanser.
* Don't overheat your house, and use a humidifier if you live in a dry climate.

Otherwise, I'd suggest that you see a dermatologist. But try these home remedies first. IF you see no improvement after a couple of weeks, I'd suggest that you schedule an appointment with a doctor.

I happen to run across this by accident. I have the same condition, I've been to my dermatologist several times. First he said it was "orbital dermatitis" and asked about any new products I was using (makeup, facial cleanser) in case I was allergic. He gave me cordizone cream, but it did not help. I've been back twice - he has no idea what it is, just a recurring orbital dermatitis. I had it on and off for months, then it subsided to almost nothing. Now I'm experiencing a breakout of tiny zits around the edges of my nose. Both weird things - I'm thinking it's adult onset acne, probably connected to hormones (I'm nearing 50). Any other symptoms?
