Hi -

I'm a 27 year old male who was just diagnosed with Mononucleosis. I have had it for about 10 days now from my very first symptom of a heachache and soar back. On day 9 though, I have been experiencing blotchy red spots that itch. They actually started on my butt, but have now worked there way down to my feet, hands and elbows. The bottom of my feet are slightly swollen and the same for my hands. When I squeeze something my hands hurt, kind of like when your hands thaw out after skiing in cold weather.

I have no stomach problems or sinus problems. Sorry if this is poorly written, I'm extremely tired.

Thank you,

Oh, I forgot to ask if this is normal or should I check myself into the ER?
