Q: Red spots on toes

My wife recently started to develop red spots on the bottom side of her 4th toe on both feet. When they first were noticed they were painful, numb and had a pins and needles feeling in mostly the toe only. Her feet would also get very hot.

At first, her feet became very hot and itchy, so to compensate for that she would do her best to keep her feet as cool as possible.

Eventually, her feet would become too cold and almost numb, which she found it very difficult to get the numbing feeling to go away.

The pain has gradually reduced over the last couple of weeks, but is still tender to the touch.

I can provide a picture if it would make things easier.

Thank you for your assistance!

Chris
