Q: Red skin petch on cheek

about a year ago i started getting a very small red petch on my right cheek. since then, this has spread to both my cheeks where both are now bright red and i also have raised spots (they do not hav heads) which feel like braille. My face is a complete mess and as a result my confidence is going down hill. Please can you help?!!!!

It is hard to say what the redness is without seeing it. The dimensions of the red areas might have been helpful. Chronic irritation and inflammation might be one of the causes. Whether an infection is present too can not be told without further tests.
Eczema is also one of the possible causes. Eczema is a type of allergy caused by often contact with the allergen.
You might want to visit a dermatologist for visual examination and to rule some more serious conditions (Systemic lupus erythematosus being one of them).
