Hi there. A few weeks ago my girlfriend started taking the pill and we started to have sex without a condom. The first time we had sex it was quite painful for her even though we had already been having sex with a condom before hand. The first time i did not notice anything but a few days ago we had sex again (it was no longer painful for her) and i noticed that i had small, painless, dark blood coloured red dots just under my foreskin and maybe 1 or 2 spots on the very bottom of the head of my penis. The dots cleared up after a day or 2. I got quite worried and have been looking around the net to find out what it may be, the main thing being is it an STI? Today we had sex again and the dots appeared again slowly fading away over the day.

I have read that it may be because of burst blood vessels due to the sex. On the other hand i herd it may be due to a yeast infection. I had never really thought about this but possibly a month back my girlfriend had a small white (possibly thick?) discharge just around her vagina. At first i was a bit worried about what it was but i think i just ignored it. Now knowing that this is possibly a sign of a yeast infection, what can i do? I'm rather embarrassed to go see a GP or even let her know about it, She may possibly be unaware that she has a yeast infection, if it is one.
