Red itchy skin - chicken pox ?

if really itchy and blistered then sounds like chicken pox. when i had them i used to take anti-histamines to tone the itch down and use calomine lotion. chicken pox are a pain especially if they spread to inside your throat and mouth. word of advise and maybe too late if its chicken pox you are highly infectious for first 7/14 days and really should have an incubation period.
