Q: red itchy rash on feet

I have a rash on the tops of both of my feet. It looks sort of whelped and it itches and burns soooooo badly!!! It just started yesterday and then tonight it was much worse. I am also 21 weeks pregnant so I am not sure if it is related to that. I went to the doctor today but all he said was to take Benadryl and prescribed some cream but when I used the cream it just made it worse. It almost looks like a burn of some sort; like a sunburn or chemical burn. I have the itching and somewhat of a rash on my legs and arms also but the Benadryl and cream help thise areas just not my feet. Any advice or diagnosis will be greatly appreciated!

could be a bunch of things, I would have to see it, what is the name of the cream?

I have eczema and they give hydro-cortisone but it burns when I put it on but it does help. Eczema as I was informed is usually allergy related, so it could be that or fungal (athletes foot) I really dont miss being preggo, lol, another thing to try is a bath with baby oil and let your feet soak in it and wear sock when you put the cream on.

It could be due to fungi infection, especially now in summer it's common to have such infection. Try to use some 'uncovered' footware. If it still persist, go to the hospital and have it check. Try not to self-medicate since you're pregnant. Hope this helps.
