i'm 16 years old but sexually inactive. i have researched and found some information.

there is a region just above where the penis is about 2cm wide and 4cm long which is red and very itchy. it hasnt affected me in my sleep but alot of time really itches in day. i looked and i may have pubic lice although i havent had any sexual contact- but looking at pictures it doesnt look like that anyway as area is just red and ive looked and cannot see any of the lice there which are meant to be visible.

any ideas and i am too embarrased to see doctor as i ned to go through parent first.

help!

hello what i would advise is wear loose underwear and joggers as it gets hot and sweaty there so could be heat rash. if you don,t have any cream that would sooth the itch which is called jock strap take an antihistamine to stop the itching and dab talc on it.
my son gets this problem and uses my lanacane to help. think you call it miconazole as im from uk.
hope this helps you.
