My illness has been going on for about 10 years now, I have something red on my face which looks like sunburn, my joints are painful, I cannot be in the sun to long or I break out, I have peed high protein several times, recently I have been blacking out which a co-worker said it looks like a seizure, and it hurts when I breathe. I went to the ER last night, and they gave me pain drugs without even looking at my joints or anything, and told me since I am blacking out I need to get my heart checked, and they made me feel like I was crazy. My boyfriend is starting not to believe me with anything I say when it comes to my health because I am always sick with something. And I am starting to think to myself that I am crazy because no one believes me that I am sick. Can someone please help me?

It sounds like you have lupus. One of the main symptoms of lupus is a butterfly rash, a rash that covers the nose and cheeeks in a pattern similar to the shape of a butterfly. Other symptoms are joint pain, skin sensitivity to light and sun, heart problems and fatigue.
