asked by: DoctorQuestion on November 22nd, 2008
ok, so i have been having unprotected sex with this girl for about 3 months. Just recently i have noticed a large number of small red dots in my crotch area mainly on my thighs to the left and right of my penis. they dont apear to be raised at all, but they hurt when i push on them. could this be a rub rash or something worse?

According to the major symptom you described (red dots mainly on the thighs), you might be experiencing rub rush. You might want to try baby powder for several days. If this does not help, you might want to try an OTC antifungal medication. If the dots still exist afterwards, you might want to consult with a dermatovenerologist if the condition is caused by a sexually transmitted disease.
