Q: Red dots all over torso

These bumbs are not that big, you can barely feel them. They do not hurt or itch or anything but sit there. I am worried and wondering why I have them. They are all over, some barely a centimeter away from each other.

My daughter and several of her friends had red dots too...mostly over the torso as well. They dots came out after a afternoon in the pool. Kids report that they are not itchy. They all had the same symptoms: low fever (100.9), and headache. My daughter's eye looks a little congested as well. My doc diagnoses with a virus. Other Mom's Doc diagnosed her kids w/ atypical chicken pox. Hope you get some answers.
