I got out of the shower this morning and noticed a red area on the underside of my belly (I am somewhat over wieght) that is a purplish bump and a red imflammed looking area. The bump is sore and I am not sure what it is. What might it be and should I see a doctor currently?

hello and welcome i remember when really overweight i had one similar. had my doctor check it and he said it was just a small cyst and watch it didn,t become infected. i tried not to pat it dry after showering so tip i used was a hair dryer on cool heat to dry it. i was sore to at it was just at my panty line so was always irritated.
your doctor may prescribe you a cream to put on it so have it checked for your own piece of mind. hope this has helped you.
