red bumps on pubic region

hi there

i have had this condition for 4 or more years now, i have been to embarrassed to go see a doctor, and only now it has been realtivly bad.

i have small to medium size red patches on the shaft of my penis and they are dry and flake, and sometimes when i get an erection they tend to cut my shaft causing me a funny kind of pain.

i have recently shaved my pubic region because of the heat, and not having tended to it for a while it looked like a jungle down there.

after i shaved i started to notice little red bumps all over my pubic region, there isnt 1 or 2 , there is probably at least 50+ . i am a bit worried i might have something serious.

the red bumps are extremely itchy and it looks very scary when i am in public and everyone is watching me like " what the hell is he doing " and there i am scratching away at my self.

i am not sure if i have anything minor or serious. and i have no clue what kind of condition or disease it is. but i have looked up my type of condition and it seems like im not the only one that has had it.
