Red bump on labia

I was wondering if anyone had a similar experience or could tell me if they know if this is an STD or something else. I have recently round a round red bump on the right side of my labia. It hurts to the touch. It came on one day and it has been a few days. I had a similar bump show up higher sort of on my pubic bone area. I thought it was an ingrown hair or something like that. It went away but now I have this new bump. I have an apt with my doctor later this week but I was just hoping for some feedback beforehand.
