My boyfriend and I have been dating for over 2 months in that 2 month period of time I've gotten reallyreally bad cases of sore throats than I've ever gotten in my life. I've always gotten bad strep but about a month ago I went to the doctor with symptoms of fatigue, sore throat, fever, and I sworn I had mono. However, the tests came back negative. Turns out I just had a severe "viral infection". Today I went to see my doctor with the exact same symptoms, just worse. She swears it's mono, but that's what she said last time. Is my boyfriend a "carrier" or do I just have a really terrible immune system and/or should I get my tonsils removed?
