Recurring Problems After Dental Surgery

On feb 11th, I had a piece of one of my back teeth fall out. I went straight to the dentist, who told me that I had an infection in the roots and would either require a root canal or extraction. I could not afford a root canal. So, after 30 minutes of her trying to extract it, she told me that it would have to be surgically removed. She went ahead and surgically removed the tooth, which took her another hour to do. It was very traumatizing. I could barely open my mouth for 4 days. On feb 14th, I returned to the doctor to have her look at sharp edges of the bone that were protruding through my gum. She then cut the bone down and stitched me back up. Feb 24th, I returned to the doctor again, and they drilled the bone down so that it would go below the surface of my gum. As well as treating me for an infection. ( I had had an ear ache for 5 days ) anyways.. Today, I have noticed that it appears that the gum has totally retracted from covering the bone on the inside of my jaw (closest to my tongue) and the bone is now showing from one end to the other and it is quite high up and sharp. Has anyone else ever had this happen before? And if so, how did you finally get it fixed? Its so annoying and I cannot stand the pain anymore. If it doesn't end soon, I am going to loose it as it has been going on for more than 2 weeks now and its rediculous. I hope to hear from someone with any suggestions or info. Thank you in advance.
