It's about the size of a kidney bean, sometimes smaller, never has a head, always comes back in the same spot. Here's the weird part, it's like a period warning. A couple of days before my period it will wake me up in the middle of the night throbbing. If I push down on it, the pain goes away a little, almost like a trigger point. I call it "my button" weird I know, I've had it for years. It goes, it comes back, most of the time it doesn't hurt. It's kinda like a blood blister. I've experimented over the years (I once tried to drain it with a sterilized syringe ~ spare me the lectures, I know you're not suppoesd to do stuff like that, but I cut off my own skin tags too ~ man do they bleed, wont do that again) and all I seem to get out of it is blood. It's not one of those things where you think you're gonna bleed to death either, it clots up pretty effectively and only really bleed when I pester it. I think the skin in that area is getting thin, lately it doesn't take much provocation to "pop" it. It really kinda feels like a blister, except more tender and a bit deeper (most of the time) like when you get a blister on your heel as opposed to fluid under a thin layer on the back of your ankle. Anyway, any suggestions? Yes, I do shave.

I have this very same problem also. The only thing is that Mine goes to the point where it gets very large and then when it pops some blood which looks a bit whitish red (pus I imagine)comes out. Doesn't bleed much though. I have also tried to drain it but it always comes back. I have an appointment with my doctor next week and will ask her then come back and make another post. I wish you well.
