I keep getting a cyst on my right ovary. It causes mild to severe pain and will radiate down my right thigh. It usually lasts between 2-3 days.. It causes bloating and gas as well.. I was told about a year and a half ago that I produce more cysts than the average female is "suppose" to and I have a bicornuate uterus plus the lining around my uterus seemed to have thickned a very little bit. The Dr said none of it was anything to be concerned about "as of now." Anyone have troubles with recurring painful cysts? Should I be concerned about it? Input would be appreciated.. thanx

i have a cyst on my right ovary. i m currently on birth control pills which suppose to keep you from getting cyst on your ovary.
are you on birth control pills or are you thinking about taking them?
did your doctor talk to you about getting a d&c which is scraping the lining on your uterus so it can be thin.
i started bleeding very heavy and my doctor said the lining of my uterus was thick so i had to get a d&c.

right ovarian pain
I'm always so sorry to read about others also experiencing the exact same thing I've been dealing with for years. The pain on my right ovary also radiates down onto my right thigh and this extreme pain lasts the same amt of time as yours. I've ended up in the emergency room only with the doctors to keep me there for four days and left without any answers. I'm sure it didn't help that I do not have insurance. Although, I've done my research and have found an epidemic of women usually between 25 and 35 years of age suffering with these same conditions only to have doctors tell them "it's normal"!! If any of those doctors ever experienced this condition, the last thing they'd say is that it is normal.
Birth control is an option to try and will help cysts to shrink as well as not form to begin with. It caused me to sleep all the time and I completely lost my appetite for life. The only other current option I can offer you that I am just about to start on myself is trying the homeopathic approach.

Take Care and God Bless you.

I seem to be having the same problem my age is 22 at the age of 21 their was over 50 free flowing cysts removed and a D&C was done. They did not turn out to be malignant, the pain had subsided for about 9 months then once again the pain started on my left ovary is the main one causing pain. Went to the dr recently and once againg i have cysts and liquid around my ovaries and cervix. The DR'S do not know whats going on and i'm about to have surgery again to remove them once again!!!! I am going on 4 yrs. since i started with these troubles and pain. If you find out something please let me know i'm at hopeless of finding a answer!!!!!!!
