I've had at least 4 UTI's in the past 6 months. Actually I don't think the first one ever went away. The most recent does of antibiotics didn't work. I know that having not even been back to the ER. There's an on and off sharp pain in my lower left back area, and when I go to the bathroom it hurts and feels like there's a pressure in that spot of my back. Also since that last dose of antibiotics I've had to use the bathroom even more then I used to and am having trouble as embarrassing as it is holding it now too. I guess I'm now like a leaky faucet to put it kindly.

I've kept my husband in the dark for fear of worrying him, but i'm starting to think I need to make another trip to the ER to be checked out.

I don't have insurance, or a job. My husband barely supports us both so we dont have the extra money to throw around on doctors..

So I'm here asking if anyone has any ideas what could be wrong so I can start stressing before the visit to the ER.

Sorry to hear you are not feeling well.
It sounds like you do need to get this evaluted further, you can have a kidney infection from the UTI, if the med's have not worked for your UTI the infection can spread to the kidneys. Another possibility is a kidney stone with the pressure you are feeling in the area.

Keep us posted.
