A circumcision is major surgery and you can never have too much information. I think your girlfriend will notice that you have been circumcised. It is not something you can hide when having intimate relations. You should tell your girlfriend and the two of you can explore each other (without using your penis). The exploration should teach you a lot about your and her bodies. Besides being educational, exploring is lots of fun.

That makes a little more sense. I hope that you are aware that, normally, phimosis can be treated non-surgically. A common treatment is gentle stretching

/phimosis.html with or without a steroidal cream. In the United States, where there is a culture of circumcision, most doctors immediately recommend circumcision to treat phimosis without considering less drastic options first.
If you look, you will find many reports of men who were circumcised to treat phimosis and have come to regret the surgery because of the long term effects. After all, circumcision amputates erogenous tissue from your penis. I don't want to be cantankerous. I just want to make sure that you have all the info before you are cut. The choice is yours.
