I broke two bones 1st March and have been in plaster. The plaster was removed today and the smaller metro bone is not aligned but it is to late to pin it. The foot itself is still extremely swollen, freezing cold - the consultant tells me to try and walk on it - but it does feel ready for this .. he said the more pain i can endure the quicker the healing process !!! is this right .. i am going to spain next Friday and i am extremely concerned - i cannot put any weight on it surely !
