I had septoplasty 2 weeks ago. After the surgery, I had the nasal packing for 3 days but no splints. The day I took out the packing, my nose bled excessively like water flowing, but it calmed down after half an hour. The best thing to do when this happens is tighten your nose, place ice and tilt your head, not to mention got to the nearest hospital or medical building you can find, because this is very dangerous, which I should have done. When you blow your nose for the first time after surgery, it''s normal for a big blob or large strip of semi dry blood to come out. Scary but normal.

2 weeks later and my nose is still sensitive, I guess that being normal. But I still can''t breath through the same nostril I had difficulty with. I guess some surgeries don''t turn out as planned. For some ple it will show amazing results and for others nothing.
