Hello

My nice is 8 years old living in Germany. She has been diagnosed for an Osteosarcoma of the proximal tibia just
below the knee. her oncologist has recommended amputation due to involvement of the muscles and major nerve. We are desperate to know whether other treatments are possible to save her leg. Is a limb salvage surgery possible? is it possible to recostruct the neurovascular block as well as the bone?

Rotationplasty is typically used for young patients who have osteosarcoma near the knee joint and patients that are skeletally immature.
