Q: Recalling memories

i i know what it is my mind is trying to suppress ( a molestation by a family member from around age 6 to 9 0r 10) i know it happened but i have suppressed he details and now find that i have completely lost my memories from this time even good things the horrible part is that my father recently passed and i cant remember things about him which kills me because he was the greatest person in my life and i cant remember im hitting bottom about this i cant function i just dont know what to do

hey, i understand, n im sorry ur having a hard time at the mo and about ur father. do u have anyone you can talk to? i remember certain bits and peices but not really anythink suffieient either, its like its there somewhere but i just cant reach it. i think i need help putting the pieices together somehow.
you cant force yourself to remember things but it has a habit of coming back to you in pieces in nightmares and images and things. maybe u could ask to be refered to a counselor? x
