Reasons for not conceiving can originate from both the mother and the father. There are many reasons that have to be examined. Having your first child normally delivered indicates that the anatomy of the genital system in both you and your husband is fine. But other factors that can change in time, (hormone blood levels), have to be taken into consideration and examined.
