Q: Reasons for bleeding during sexual intercourse

hi, i just had a baby girl and shes six months old,though i had her through cesarean section.

however i had my period like two weeks ago but the problem now is since two days...whenever i have sex with my husband,i do have internal bleeding.can u tell me pls...is this normal? am i ok? i hope this is not gonna affect my baby because im breastfeeding? thank u

Bleeding during intercourse might be caused by minor trauma to the vaginal mucosa. The presence of polyps in the vagina increases the chances for this. You might want to check with your gynecologist who might do a vaginal examination. None of the previously mentioned reasons affects the breastfeeding.
