I am experiencing the same thing this month. I am worried because my left breast hurts worse on the outside of my breast. I think I am suppose to get my period in a few days but I am so irregular. My breast always feel lumpy. I've been reading that breast pain is not a symptom of breast cancer is that true

I had this problem awhile ago-- it’s awful!

Have you been drinking a lot of caffeine lately?

The first day of my period was the 14th. It ended around the 19th/20th.

My breasts are still sore and feel like I'm still menstrating. They are plump, sore and sometimes I get a quick pain in them. It's been about 10 days since my menstration ended so I'm worried about why my breasts are still like this.

Also, my right breast is usually slightly bigger than the left. Right now the left is slightly bigger than the right and feels more sensitive.

This past month has been very stressful and I deal with anxiety on a daily basis. Would this have anything to do with it? Could it be my hormones and stress levels?

Having anxiety only hightens my fear. I've made an appointment with my family doctor but he isn't available until May 26th. I try seeing a walk-in clinic but I'm always turned away due to doctors meeting their 'quota's for the day.

I went to the doctor today and he felt my breasts and said he couldn't feel any lumps, THANK GOD. He said my swelling and pain was most likely due to stress and anxiety.

Try wearing a sports bra, even during the day. It's helped with my tenderness. I'm also going to stay away from caffeine.
