Hi, I really need some advise. Last night i an encounter with an escort. We indulged in a lot of kissing & i also received a protected Oral & Hand work from her side. The condom stayed intact when i climaxed during the handwork & i had also fingered her quite deep in her vagina while she performed the Oral, but.....I washed my hands off with soap thoroughly before touching my private parts...( Guess they were no longer private hehe)...sorry but i though i could just afford a laugh.....But yes i did soap out the hands completely, wiped them with tissues...then only did i wash the rest of my body & mouth.....Now just about 8 hours since the incident i've suddenly developed a dull weakness & i also had a sudden bout of loose bowels.....I'm kinda worried whether i may have been infected with HIV ??? i did indulge in a lot of kissing & my lips were a health forum & her saliva would have got onto the chapped lips....Also i did have a slightly painful aphtheous ulcer inside my mouth.....so when i indulged in the deep kissing i'm worried her saliva would have got in contact with the ulcer & infected me ?? To the naked eye ofcourse there was't any blood coming from her mouth or in her saliva.....but could the ulcer in my mouth have opened me up to contracting something ???? as in if her saliva did have any blood mixed with it ???

I also washed my penis with the same telephonic shower that she used to wash her vagina.....this happened within a matter of seconds & so would this have caused any chance of any contraction from her vaginal fluids that may have been on the telephonic shower....

My questions really are :
1. Is there a possibility i may be infected when the girl's saliva (with or without Blood) came in contact with my chapped lips or the Aphtheous Ulcer inside my mouth. I really worried as the ulcer is involved.....if it wasn't there maybe i would breathe easier.

2. I've suddenly developed loose bowels & weakness....Do HIV symptoms show up this early ????

3. From you knowledge in this subject have you ever heard about somebody being infected this way ??? Have there been cases documented with transmission occurring through ulcers in the mouth ??

4. When would you suggest i get tested to make sure i haven't been affected...

5. Her vaginal fluids were on my hands after the fingering, but then they were exposed to the air & i did wash my hands completely....so in this case the fluids being exposed to the air would have killed of the virus if present right ???

6. I also shared a Glass of Juice with her & a sandwich...so again that would opne me upto her saliva on the mouth, the chapped lips & maybe the ulcer inside....what's the risk from this ??

I would request the experts for detailed answer so that i don't have to take time off your busy schedule by posting again & again.....My best wishes to you & thanx!!!!

Also wanted to add that i did not have regular intercourse..........only received hand work & an oral as i said.....before the oral whilst positioning ourselves......i guess there was a point where my penis (with the condom on) brished against her vagina......& now whilst she was giving me the oral.....she was kissing me in the middle...now is there a chance that the vaginal fluids that may have gotten onto the condom gotten into her moth & then into mine...when she kissed....thus coming in contact with the chapped lips or/& ulcer & caused a chance of infection......basically condom - mouth - mouth ??? is this a possible transmission route....

Some good advise from you guys will really help cool my nerves !!

1. An ulcer being an open wound may cause transmission of germs into the bloodstream. Get checked straight away for sexually transmitted diseases.

2. Please see your health care provider regarding the loose bowels and weakness. It appears you picked up something.

3. Saliva does not have enough HIV to cause infection. However, if the saliva is mixed with blood, then we are concerned about the blood. Blood has the highest concentration of HIV compared to semen, vaginal fluids and breast milk which has very little HIV but still enough to cause infection for a new born.

4. A blood test is recommended at three months from the point of supposed infection. After that, one should wait another three months and get another test which is conclusive.

The medical system also has rapid tests but a blood test is recommended.

5. HIV dies 30 seconds to a minute after it hits the air.

6. You cannot catch HIV through sharing a glass of juice or a sandwich. There are things to get concerned about eg, oral herpes...

All the best

Also wanted to know....
Would you put this down as low or no risk situation with respect to HIV ??? have you heard of any documented cases where HIV transmission has been reported when the saliva of one's partner got in contact with their chapped lips or mouth ulcer, thus resulting in transmission of HIV ?
