Q: Reading the labels for hypoglycemia

Well, It's been some times, and it's going well.
But I've noticed that some food make me feel like I've been hit by a train. Food that are supposed to be healthy.
I try to cook as much as possible, but sometimes I will buy the "Low in sugar" type off the counter at the grocery store and still feel like crap.

I try to read the labels as much as possible, but sometimes, it's like I need a chemistry course at the university to fully understand what they say.

Is there anything I should avoid?
I don't have any example to give, but I bought those smoothie strawberry banana popsicle kinda thing.
They're good, looks healthy, low in sugar. But there's also a bunch of weird names which I'm sure is disguised sugar and I'd like to know if they mean "sugar"

Any one can help?
Thanks

Oh! and today, I went to this grocery store that I thought was nothing special.. and they have an organic section, and I never thought of going there, but I did today and they have 10 kinds of Ezekiel bread! I mean, it's amazing, Sorry, I'm so happy I had to share Smile

Yeah, that bread company is AWESOME. First off, you shouldn't be eating bananas. Second off, if anything says 'low sugar' it doesn't mean there isn't any, or, even worse, it could be replaced by an artificial sweetener, which you don't want. Sugar can be found as dextroes, fructose (though okay in fruit itself), molasses, honey, corn syrup (lots of different types of that), and tricky things like organic cane juice, celery juice and the like. All this stuff is just sugar.
