my three year old is having a high fever (103-105 degree) every month for the last 6months or more, there are no other symptons, no glands swollen, no white cells raised, nothing, we have just seen a pediatric heart doc, the found nothing, small mumur, i am so worried, that they keep coming up with i dont know, i believe the doc will send us to a pediatric disease specialist this time because he had mentioned it before. last time he had this fever they did find traces of blood in urine but didnt recheck him,

if you have an ideas what this might be or suggest what to do,
i need help????

Fever, blood in the urine,,why didn't they check his kidneys? Did they test his blood counts? If this were my child I would have them doing every test until they figured out why so many fevers and blood in the urine. Doctors today are quick to brush you off when they can't figure out what's wrong but a reocurring fever is a sign that something is wrong, usually some type of infection in the body. Don't allow them to brush you off..get second opinions..demand more tests. I hope you find some answers soon and your son starts feeling better.

when i suggested that he should do another urinalysist, he did and there was still small traces of blood, so we where sent to get an ultrasound on his kidneys, this i what they found, his right kidney, pancreas and adomin were enlarged, so now he is sending us to a urinologist the earliest time was oct. 27, i am tried of waiting, i am going to have a sick stomach for the next 4 weeks. we are seeing a infectious disease specailist next thursday, i hope we can get some answers, if anybody could give me some answers , i would be so greatful,
worried mom,
