My 5 yr old son has non-itchy rashes around the mouth area. It starts off as a red rash, then later appears dry & flakey on the surface. I've noticed when he eats certain food ie. beef, carrots, the rashes become raw, red and more prominent after several hours. The bright redness subsides after a couple of days and returns more or less, to the natural skin colour. In general, the rashes are becoming worse i.e. skin is dry & flaky and sometimes new rashes appear around the eyes.

I've brought him to skin specialists but they all prescribed creams, none of which worked.

Please advise.
