rash caused by stress ? Posted: 05-04-08 10:07am


I have been suffering from rashes and blotches to my thighs and calfs.Also i have very red sores behind my knees.Recently i have now been experiencing boils on my lower back.Initially it was thought i had std but had test that came back negative but need retesting this month. My doctor says the problem is possibly due to extreme stress due to the many problems i have in my life at the present time. Is it possible to have the above symptoms due to extreme stress?

I had red blotches on my hand that I know were brought on by stress I had them from November until sometime last month it seemed to have dissapeared

I think it is most surly possible. Stress and anxiety has many way it can manitest itself. Through anger, thought,, reaction. So why not causing a skin reaction. Shouls check with your doc. Never know if it could be a side effect for a medication or not. Check to be on the safe side.
