Q: Rash and Bumps?

I am worried about a rash that i have developed not on my genitalia but in my right inner thigh and on my pubic area. I have an itchy typical redish looking rash located on my right inner thigh, i thought at first i may have developed it just from skin rubbing against skin as i work out and run often, but now i am really unsure because i have had it for at least a month and a half with it not really going away, although i must admit i have unfortunately been scratching it off and on which im sure is not helping the situation. However i have also gotten in the last couple months a total of three insect bite like bumps in my pubic area, they get somewhat red and a little swollen, once again very much like insect bites, they don't itch but feel somewhat hard or puss-filled and can hurt for a few days if touched. They normally pop or deflate after a few days. I have no marks or irritability on my genitalia, so im wondering what this can be and how can i treat this?

Extremely eHealthy
Itching and redness in groin, that may spread to the genitals, inner thighs, buttocks and anal area, could be a fungal infection of your skin known as jock itch.
This infection usually appears in warm, moist areas like skin creases.
Scratching the red patches that are itchy, may spread the fungus and also, may lead to bacterial super-infection (the pimple like growths you had in your pubic area)
Usually, this condition is easily treated with over the counter antifungal ointment, lotion, powder or spray.
Keeping the area clean and dry, avoiding tight clothes can be beneficial in therapy of jock itch.

Best wishes!
