Q: raised thyroid levels from bc pill ?

Question,

My wife had blood work to prepare for egg donation, we will be recipients. Thyroid levels were slightly elevated. Never had these problems before. She had just started the BC pill a few days before. Is that something that might affect levels? We have appointments with endocrinologist.
