Hi everyone. I just had a radioactive
iodine treatment for my hyperactive
thyroid and forgot to ask my doctor; how
long until i can smoke cigarrettes past
treatment because I don't know how long I
can last

If you plan to continue with smoking, the
best way to find the answer is to contact
your doctor.
I'll suggest you to quite smoking, because
it's known that smoking history is a risk
factor of thyroid eye disease in
hyperthyroid patients.
Also, there are some studies that have
shown that cessation of smoking is
beneficial for stopping the progression of
hyperthyroidism.
