my friend is suffering from cancer and doctor suggested her for radiation therapy.but she is not able to decide whether it is good or not,because someone said that by using radiation therapy treatment patient gets radioactive and it is harmful.plz tell me

hi..
its not completly true that during radiation therapy patient gets radioactive.extrnal radiation therapy for curing cancer does not produce any side effect in body but the internal radiation therapy somehow may produce some side effects,so its better to take this treatment under good chemo or radiation therapy specialist.
