I would like to get treatment at a hospital that is about 50 miles from where I live for prostrae Cancer. would it be practical to expect to drive that far every day for over a month to recieve radiation. Would I be too sick . I could get it where I live but they do not have the same medical equipment.

You might want to have someone take you the first couple of times, to see how you do. It's not just the nausea. You may become fatigued or have other symptoms. Everyone has different levels of reaction. Plus, we don't know how strong your treatment needs to be. After you see how you feel, then you can make an assessment. Also, as you get more into treatment, you may need someone to take you if you are too weak. Don't be afraid to ask for help.

You also may need the moral support. You don't know what your emotional state might be after the first couple of treatments.

Good luck with your treatment. Stay positive. Smile
