I’m looking for ways to quit smoking and came across the terminology “Cold Turkey exercise”. What are Cold turkey and acupuncture methods? Are they really helpful? Is there another method available to quit smoking.

Cold turkey is just completely stopping smoking without first cutting back on how much you smoke a day. It is probably the hardest way to quit but I know people who have been successful. It's a test of willpower. If you are a strong willed person you should try it.

Re:Quitting smoking cold turkey
Cold Turkey exercise means quitting straight forward at once. Like just waking up after a night’s sleep and deciding not to smoke anymore.
Ear acupuncture is the most common form of acupuncture treatment to help quit smoking. Often, small ear seeds can be placed with tape over the useful points in the ear, and allow you to stimulate these points at home between treatments. Do consult an acupuncturist or community acupuncture clinic where you can receive treatment several times per week.

hey guys,
my name is megan and i've been smoke free for 63 days. i quit smoking using this thing called a dig cig. it's an electronic cigarette. basically, it replaced that feeling of "oh my god i'm gonna bite your head off" by delivering nicotine and some flavorings. it's pretty cool. it feels like your smoking a real cig and it makes smoke and stuff, but it's not bad for you.

i just figured i'd share cause i used to think i could never stop smoking but here i am! haha. it worked GREAT

I quit by going cold turkey. It's been 2 weeks today.

I find if I try to cut back I just wind up smoking back to normal when I have a stressfull day.
