How long should I wait to start taking the pill after I've quit smoking? one day? One month? longer? Or is it pretty safe as long as I never smoke while on the pill?

i know the risk is that you can get blood clots. if you quit smoking im sure you can take the pill right away actually. in fact, ive been on birth control for almost 2 years and i am a smoker. ive never had any problems. but im sure every person is different. though im sure you can take the pill even the day you quit

Thanks. I've quit for a few days now and will start the BC pills in a couple weeks after my next period ends. thought it couldn't hurt to wait.
