Q: quick onset of arthritis

my sister-in-law (57) had 2 strokes, one bad but went back to work. Her father had ret. arthritis, and since she went back to work has developed rapid onset arthritis. It is getting so bad that she is having a hard time holding a pen or typing. What could have caused such a quick onset?

She sounds like she may be having some Carpel Tunnel Syndrome problems with her hands...Have her check into this....
