You would like to know whether your blood pregnancy test could have been wrong and whether your body may not show a pregnancy in tests as well as your mother’s.
Researches show that in certain women the level of the progesterone doesn’t increase to the measurable levels that are in ranges common for pregnancies. Those levels of progesterone increase gradually and may be a little late, from few weeks to two to three months.
Given the data that you described it is likely that your body may react on pregnancy the same as your mother’s, which means that your body may not show the pregnancy right away, but a bit later. You may consider seeing a gynecologist to have a blood pregnancy test again or to confirm the pregnancy with ultrasound examination.
