I read an email of my partners. He sent it to someone he met while out of town on business and someone he told me his company was hiring to do work in that area. His email apologized for taking so long to get back to her and asked her how it was being back to work and said he'd be looking forward to a golf game on his next trip to her "hometown. Her reply was "too bad you're not here now it's 60 degrees and sunny. She then goes on to tell him she'd be going out with the girls for dinner and to keep in touch. While the email doesn't definitely confirm anything, my gut feeling is that it's way too personal for a casual business relationship. I'd really appreciate your thoughts on this. I'm a very naive and trusting person but something doesn't sit right for me with this.
