I developed a rash about 3 weeks ago on my breast. My doctor thinks this was the "herald spot" of Pytiriasis rosea. It has not spread to my other breast and thighs (the herald spot faded). he took a biopsy to confirm this. The anti itching creams are not working. I am up throughout the night itching. I keep reading about how this can last for months. It is very depressing. I am a 28 year old otherwise healthy female. I have read somer posts about tanning salons helping this rash disappear. Does anyone have further information on this? Does the tanning make it itch more? I don't mind the appearance of these dots as much as I do the itching. Any advice on what I can do?
