hi, three years ago i had both my toe nails removed and the nail beds removed as well so they would not grow back. i was left with scar tissue where my nails used to be and they bodged the removal on my left big toe and i was left with a tiny bit of nail which still grows but thats not an issue.

the problem ive now got is that i noticed puss under the skin of the scar tissue on my left big toe. being an ingrown toe nail suffer for years i decided just to drain it out an cover it but when i did this i noticed that in the cavity that was left there was quite a bit of nail (looked like honey comb :S), growing up underneath.

i am unsure what to do as its been 3 years since i had them removed, surely it would not take that long to grow back? or is my nail starting to grow back anyway?

unfortunately i know what the next step is as ive been there 4 times before but if anyone could lend some advice it would be handy.

thanks
Mallyx
