Q: pus blisters in mouth

I hate to say, but... have not had sex in over 10 years. I have been fighting auttoimune thyroid disease and trying to work. Had been checked for stds back then so shouldn't be herpes or that kind of thing.... now fast forward to now.....
I have been aching all over, sore throat and now had a low grade fever. I have on the roof of mouth what looks like a pus blister and the dentist said I also have some smaller ones in my throat. No sores just pus filled looking blistes are shrinking it looks like to the dentist. He said it looks like a virus that got bacteria. The regular DR gave me amoxacillian. These are big pus blisters. What could this be???????????

The mouth is often refered to as the windo to the rest of your body. Any systemic issues will most likely have some sort of symptom showing up in the mouth. If you have an autoimmune disease then your mouth will certainly show things like - candida (yeast infection)/ulcers/abcesses (which is what you sound like you have). Just make sure you have an excellent diet and are not deficiant in any essential vitamins or minerals. Amoxicillin can be a short term relief but is not a long term answer if these abcesses are recurring.
