I am currently in menopause and have recently noticed my baby toe on my left foot has become discolored. This is a chronic condition, however there is no pain involved, just discoloration. My left ankle has also become swollen as well. These symtoms concern me because I have had two separate episodes of DVT's in my left leg
following a hysterectomy and a muscle resection of my left quadracept. I am currently not on any hormones, but I have increased the amount of soy that I consume. My biggest concern is that I have developed another DVT. I have seen both a podiatrist and my primary physician and both have assured me that these changes are normal. Based on my history, should I listen to my instinct that something is wrong and request a doppler test to determine if another blood clot is brewing?
