Yesterday when I was in the shower I accidentally stepped on the shower drain strainer. There are 2 puncture wounds. I let it bleed out when I was still in the shower and when I got out I applied anitbacterial ointment. I am about 17 weeks pregnant and I am not too sure how long ago my last tetanus shot was. The strainer was not rusty but of course where was bacteria on it being that its in the drain. Please help.

I would just to be safe. Tell your doctor what happened and let him/her see the wounds especially if you're not sure when your last tetanus shot was.
You should get a tetanus shot every few years (it varies, actually). Some people say 10 years and some say 5 but I say if you're worried, better safe than sorry.
