Punch biopsy on nipple

I am wondering that if you have a punch biopsy for a very sore tip on your nipple, but the punch was done below the nipple ,not on the nipple itself..... will it be accurate?

The punch biopsy can only be accurate if the specimen is taken directly from the tissue/area of concern.
